Decluttering Your Thoughts
Decluttering your thoughts/ mind is probably one of the best gifts that you can give to yourself during your entire lifetime. Thought decluttering can literally improve your whole life. Thus I highly recommend that this year you give that gift to yourself for Christmas.
With respect to the above, I would like to share a decluttering tip today that has worked extremely well for me personally.
Even if you currently doubt, whether thought decluttering can benefit you, I recommend trying this little exercise for at least a day during the weekend. I believe that you can see some benefits already occurring within that day.
Decluttering Tip for the Weekend
The tip is very simple – make a promise to yourself to think only positive thoughts during the entire weekend.
This means that whenever something negative appears – as a thought or as an outside circumstance – just drop it and immediately choose to think a positive thought/ focus on some outside positive circumstance instead.
This of course applies to everything. I would especially like to emphasize that it applies also to the thoughts that you think about yourself!
Hence, every time you catch yourself thinking something negative about yourself, you must stop and replace it with a positive thought as quickly as possible.
Example Situation – you accidentally drop something and it breaks.
Negative thought: „Clumsy me, I did it again.“
Positive thought: „Oh well, I guess it was about time to get rid of this thing anyway.“
If you decide to give this little exercise a try, then keep in mind that it is absolutely okay if you are not able to catch and convert all negative thoughts during the first try. It can be tricky at first, but it gets easier with each conversion.
Make it as fun for yourself as possible. Remember, life is supposed to be fun!

PS! I would of course recommend continuing with this exercise and implementing it into your everyday life permanently, but giving it a test-run during the weekend is a very good place to start. This is why I am currently posting this as a weekend tip.

I’m in. I’d rather be called a fool with pink colored glasses than a negative fart that darkens everything around.
Great!
Let me know on Monday, how it went.
I think that is spectacular advice. It’s funny how different I feel when I clear out the junk. There is such a strong positive shift in my energy. I just feel lighter. Great post honey!
Thank you dear!
I feel the same way when I declutter (thoughts and things). It does have a miraculous effect.
