About Eva Tenter

How can I think more positively and worry less? How to overcome anxiety and negative thoughts about yourself and life in general?

Eva Tenter

Eva Tenter

If you have ever had these thoughts, then you have come to the right place! I am Eva Tenter and I welcome you to my blog “Power of Positive Thoughts”.

I am a Writer and a Happiness, Positive Thinking & Mental Health Advocate from Estonia.

I haven’t always been this happy though. :) Namely, I am an ex-sufferer of anxiety disorder, depression, eating disorders and panic attacks. In addition to that, my life used to be filled with negativity in all its various forms. I let this negativity last for 26 years until one day I decided I had had enough.

I finally asked myself in all seriousness: “How can I get happy and healthy?”

After that I turned my life upside down and inside out to get to this happy place that I imagined in my mind. After quite a bumpy ride, I finally found what I was looking for.

On this blog I share exactly the kind of positive, uplifting, inspirational and motivational material that helped me get cured from the forementioned stress induced mental illnesses and find my place of happiness, inner peace, love, joy and health.

Eva’s First Book

In addition to starting this blog, I wrote and published my first book about my happiness and healing journey to give courage, support and “insider” advice to others, who wish to start their own journey to happiness, inner peace, health, love and joy.

Confessions of an Ex-Lawyer by Eva Tenter

“Confessions of an Ex-Lawyer” by Eva Tenter

I believe in teaching by example. Therefore this book talks about my personal journey that I mentioned above. I absolutely believe that if I could get healthy and happy after all this negativity, then so can anyone else. The only thing you need as a start is your own decision to do so.

If you are looking for personal success stories about the following topics, then this is a must-read book for you:

  • Overcoming anxiety disorder, depression, panic disorder and eating disorders
  • Changing negative thinking to positive thinking
  • Overcoming childhood trauma

Please find more information about the book under the sub-page – “Overcoming Anxiety, Depression, Childhood Trauma”

Could you please help me with my ebook ideas, and how you got started? I am an aspiring author. I love your site. Jackie at http://lawofattractionsuccess.wordpress.com

    • Sure I can help you. What exactly would you like to know? I personally got started as an author actually totally from out of the blue. I was a lawyer before, so writing had been my daily job for years already. When I quit being a lawyer in the beginning of last year, I needed to think of something else to do with my life. The idea to write a book had been spiralling in my head for a few years already, but I did not know what to write about. Finally after I got cured from anxiety disorder and depression due to all my self-help work on LOA, alternative therapies, other inspirational works etc, I thought one day that this healing journey has been so difficult and bumpy that I just must write a book about it, so I could share my life story with others with similar illnesses. Namely I got rid of my mental illnesses by digging very thorougly and deeply into my subconscious, so I could find out what the real reasons for my illnesses are and where they came from. Being an author is not that important for me actually, I just wish to help others with similar mental illnesses, because I know how horrible the feelings of depression and anxiety are.

As someone who has suffered from several of the same things that you have overcome, it is good to see someone that has overcome them. I am still a work in progress, but getting there. Here is the post that I made about the award.

I was not happy during my childhood and still experience seasonal dysthymia (mild depression). Understanding self and understanding others gives you a more appreciation of life. And I have learned to be happy by following what I really feel and stop listening to what others say. Cheers to an inspiring life!
