About Eva Tenter

Eva Tenter

Psychic, Medium, Healer

Location: Tallinn, Estonia

(Northern Europe)

I am Eva Tenter and I welcome you to my blog The Sunset Blog (the previous name of my blog was “Power of Positive Thoughts”).

I am a Psychic Consultant/ Medium/ Healer, Writer and a Mental Health Advocate from Estonia.

In addition to all that, I am also an ex-sufferer of anxiety disorder, depression, eating disorders and panic attacks. In addition to that, my life used to be filled with negativity in all its various forms. I let this negativity last for 26 years until one day I decided I had had enough.

I finally asked myself in all seriousness: “How can I get happy and healthy?”

After that I turned my life upside down and inside out to get to this happy place that I imagined in my mind. After quite a bumpy ride, I finally found what I was looking for.

I started this blog in 2012 under the name “Power of Positive Thoughts”. My intention was to share exactly the kind of positive, uplifting, inspirational and motivational material that helped me get cured from the forementioned stress induced mental illnesses and find my place of happiness, inner peace, love, joy and health.

I changed this blog into “The Sunset Blog” on August 24th 2016 and from that day on I am only sharing my sunset and nature photos here. However I will not delete any of the older posts, so the previous content (all my favourite inspirational quotes and other material) is still here and live (except for the posts that I had to delete due to broken links…i.e. the info that I had shared had been deleted from the other site/ outside source, which I had shared it from). You can find the older posts by browsing the archives section and the categories section available on the right.

I choose to share mainly sunset photos because marveling and photographing sunsets is one of my favourite hobbies. I love sunrises too, of course, but I’m really just not a morning person, so that’s why this blog will always be lacking of sunrise photos.

Sunsets really are my love and with time I have become to believe that:

“Seeing the sunset every day keeps your worries at bay” ~ Eva Tenter

    1. Sure I can help you. What exactly would you like to know? I personally got started as an author actually totally from out of the blue. I was a lawyer before, so writing had been my daily job for years already. When I quit being a lawyer in the beginning of last year, I needed to think of something else to do with my life. The idea to write a book had been spiralling in my head for a few years already, but I did not know what to write about. Finally after I got cured from anxiety disorder and depression due to all my self-help work on LOA, alternative therapies, other inspirational works etc, I thought one day that this healing journey has been so difficult and bumpy that I just must write a book about it, so I could share my life story with others with similar illnesses. Namely I got rid of my mental illnesses by digging very thorougly and deeply into my subconscious, so I could find out what the real reasons for my illnesses are and where they came from. Being an author is not that important for me actually, I just wish to help others with similar mental illnesses, because I know how horrible the feelings of depression and anxiety are.

  4. Love what you are doing here, Eva! It’s so brave of you to share your own story and then help others as well.

Thanks, also, for following my blog. I really appreciate your readership 😀

  5. Eva, I nominated you for a “Connections and Inspiration” award. I have enjoyed reading your posts and find a lot of very interesting information. As someone who has suffered from several of the same things that you have overcome, it is good to see someone that has overcome them. I am still a work in progress, but getting there. Here is the post that I made about the award.

It is something that was given to me and I am passing it along to those that I have been inspired by.

  6. Eva,

Thanks for your work here. Mental health is an under discussed topic and to have more people talking about this subject is great. I look forward to following along. Also, thanks for the follow 🙂

  11. Hi 🙂 i like your writings. I also made a career change from business to psychology for more personal reasons. I was not happy during my childhood and still experience seasonal dysthymia (mild depression). Understanding self and understanding others gives you a more appreciation of life. And I have learned to be happy by following what I really feel and stop listening to what others say. Cheers to an inspiring life!
