Good Morning World! I have a confession to make…

I have a secret addiction- Kaleidoscopes! No really, it’s true. When going through my children’s toy boxes, it seems I never can toss out a kaleidoscope. Have you noticed how beautiful everything is when viewed through this  amazing toy? Look at a television, the Christmas tree, your child’s messy room, a dirty bathroom or cluttered kitchen sink. This list goes on to infinity because no matter the subject, the view is glorious and rich in color, design, etc.

At this stage in my life I am trying to focus more on being a better unconditional lover towards the All That Is! Just recently, I heard Esther Hicks (Abraham) say… “I love you, not because you are wonderful (fill in the blanks… beautiful, well-behaved, helpful, funny, a healer…) – I love you because I am a LOVER. Mental Health Month – Abraham-Hicks – Chill your way into the vortex

May is Mental Health Month and today May 16th 2012 is the Mental Health Month Blog Party (#mhblogday). More about this event can be found from http://www.yourmindyourbody.org/mental-health-month-blog-party-preview/

I have been blogging with the aim to raise mental health awareness for quite some time now. I started this blog because I myself was previously suffering from different mental illnesses (for most of my life actually).

Now I am cured and I wish to spread the word around that:

1) it is possible to be cured from mental illnesses

2) there is nothing shameful about mental illnesses and admitting that you have such problems.

My book about my healing journey from depression, anxiety disorder, panic attacks, eating disorders and all other mental problems that came with these illnesses is also still out there for everyone to learn more about my personal healing journey – www.evatenter.com

In order to contribute to the Mental Health Month Blog Party, I would love to spread a bit of inspiration into the day via a speech by Abraham-Hicks. Since Abraham-Hicks, Dr. Joe Vitale and other Law of Attraction writers/speakers/mentors have been the No. 1 Key to my healing from all the abovementioned mental illnesses, I wish to join this excellent Blog Party with one of their videos.🙂

Declutter Your Life

Decluttering my life has been one of the key aspects in getting healed from depression, anxiety disorder and panic attacks. If you remove clutter from your home, relationships and thoughts (i.e. from your life in general), then everything in your life starts becoming clearer with each day.

Tips for decluttering can be found from a lot of books and self-improvement websites, but I would still give you a few simple tips from my side that I have personally found most useful.

Decluttering your home

Throw away everything that you have not used for 6 months – and I do mean EVERY material item, not just clothes and footwear.

Being as detached as possible to all your material possessions is one of the main keys to emotional freedom as well.

Decluttering your relationships

By decluttering your relationships I mean cutting the socializing cords with every person that injects negativity / emotional toxins into your life. You do not have to socialize with everyone on the planet – it is not even possible.🙂 So never feel like you HAVE TO socialize with someone. There is no such obligation.

If you personally feel that someone in your life has a toxic effect on you, then feel free to let that relationship go.

Decluttering your thoughts

By decluttering your relationships, your thoughts start to declutter automatically, because the negative influences that were there before, are now gone. This means that your mind has more time to focus on the positive and this is exactly what you need to do in order to find your own happiness and inner peace. Just keep your focus on the positive at all times!

Do everything that you love and cut out all actions/relationships/obligations from your life that you do not enjoy. Enjoying life brings happiness not only to yourself, but also to everyone around you. And happiness creates more happiness, exactly like negativity creates more negativity.

So get happy now and do the things you enjoy!
